Stephens Wedding Preview - Saddle Creek Ranch - Austin, TX

Brigid and Jeremiah are the definition of young and crazy in love. These two have known each other since childhood, and they have such a sweetness about them. They were originally supposed to be getting married on a beach in Mexico, but due to Covid they had to cancel their wedding only a month out and move it back to Texas. In the true spirit of the season, they booked me just a couple of weeks out, and they were just about the easiest couple ever to work with. You can see how in love they are in the way they look at each other and the way they are so laid back and completely themselves in each other’s presence. (Also making me feel reeeeeal old was when Justin Bieber’s “Baby” was played during the reception and it was clear that this was everyone’s elementary/middle school jam.) These two are young, but as the saying goes, “when you know, you know”. Congrats to the Stephens’!

Kemp Wedding Highlights - Peach Creek Ranch - College Station, TX

Gosh, where do I start with this wedding? Laura and Taylor reached out to me just two weeks before their small May ceremony. They needed their brief day captured to share with their friends and family later in September at their postponed reception. Of course I thought it was a simple and short wedding video since it was only going to be three hours of coverage, but I’m never able to keep it that way! I always end up making the video longer than I think, simply because I can’t stand my couples not getting to see every moment I can squeeze in. When Laura and Taylor read their letters out loud to each other, I knew they had to be shared. Their wedding day was beautiful, quiet, and intimate. I think the peace and calm of that morning comes across so well in their story. May the Lord bless these two and their marriage for many years to come. Congrats to the Kemps!

Ok, this is my public declaration of being the worst cousin ever! My little baby cousin, Alexa, got married to the love of her life, Kenny, last August, and until now I haven’t had time to edit their video! At first when Covid hit I thought I had all of the time in the world and would be getting to edit it sooner, but then because of Covid I ended up booking five last minute weddings over the summer, and now I’m basically slammed. I tried to finish their video in time for their anniversary but here I am, a couple of weeks late. I’m sorry Lex, I love you, please forgive your dear old cousin.

Anywaaaaay, we love Kenny and are so grateful that God brought him and Alexa together. They are a perfect match and are so sweet together. You can tell just being around them how much they love each other, and like each other. They bring peace and calm wherever they go, and they are a joy to be around. We love you Ganters, and welcome to the family Kenny!

DeSpain Wedding Preview - Hog Heaven - Austin, TX

When Hailey and Beck reached out to me about their wedding at South Congress Hotel I was so excited! I’d only filmed there once and it was a rehearsal dinner, so I was dying to film an actual wedding there. Then of course, covid hit and like everything else, wedding plans changed. The wedding was postponed, and later the venue changed to a family friend’s ranch out in Dripping Springs.

While the plans changed, the spirit of the day didn’t. Beck and Hailey’s day was so full of joy and such a fun party with their nearest and dearest friends and family. The venue was absolutely stunning, even if it was different from the original vision, and Hailey’s mid-century dream still came through in all of the details. The love these two have for each other was so sweet to witness, and I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes them. Congrats to the DeSpains!
