Shrum Wedding Preview - Prospect House - Austin, TX
I’m still a little dumbfounded as to how I got to film at one of my all time favorite venues on what was (by my estimation) the most popular wedding date of 2020, but I’m not complaining! Regan and Tyler’s day was absolutely stunning in every way, from the beautiful orange floral details, to the lavender velvet tablecloths. These two met and got engaged in New Orleans, and I loved how they incorporated parts of their story into their day through the food (they had BEIGNETS for dessert, I mean come on!). I’ve had this song “New Orleans” by Jamie Lono on my playlist of teaser songs for a while now, but I never knew how I would be able to use it when I’m filming a bunch of Texas weddings. I was so excited to find the right couple with the right story to be able to use this song, and I hope it brings back all of the fun memories from their epic day. Congrats to the Shrums!
Doherty Wedding Preview - The Allan House - Austin, TX
There are some couples whose wedding day radiates with joy that I know can only be from the Lord, and Samantha and Ben’s was one of those days. There was something sweet and tender, but also joyful and exciting as they were finally getting married! The love they have for each other was so tangible, and having only their closest friends and family at their wedding only made the day feel even more intimate (even if it was 200 guests!). I’m honored to have been part of capturing such a beautiful day in their lives, and can’t wait to see how God uses these two. Congrats to the Dohertys!
Bayles Wedding Highlights - The Barn at Swallow’s Eve - Fredericksburg, TX
Gosh, where to start with Alexa and Cameron’s wedding day? These two are possibly the FUNNEST couple I’ve ever filmed, and their day was lighthearted and joyful from beginning to end. Despite their total goofiness, the day was full of tender and sweet moments between family and friends. So much so that this came out to be my longest highlights video to date! There were so many wonderful moments from the day that I was dying to include, and there was no way I was cutting it short. I also loved that Cameron and Alexa trusted me to pick the music for this one (most of my couples indicate they have preferences and would like to have some say in the music). It gives me so much more freedom to do what I truly think is the best for the story, and ultimately create what I think is a better video in the end. I’m grateful for them trusting me and for the chance to be a part of their gorgeous day. Congrats to the Bayles!

Jurecka Wedding Highlights - Ian’s Chapel at Camp Lucy - Austin, TX
Fun fact: I went to a wedding at Camp Lucy nearly nine years ago when this place was nothing but a chapel and a pavilion. It was breathtaking then, and in the years since it has grown into one of the best wedding venues in all of Dripping Springs (aka the wedding capital of Texas, the best state in America, so basically one of the best wedding venues IN THE WORLD). Surprisingly this was my first time to film there not as a second shooter, and Elizabeth and Philip could not have made the day any more perfect. They were so easy to work with, and there was a sweetness about their relationship that was so beautiful to capture on camera. The wedding day was romantic, classy, and timeless, and it fit these two perfectly. Congrats to the newly Jureckas!
