Jurecka Wedding Preview - Austin, TX
Part of the reason I do meetings with my clients before booking is to find out if we are a good fit. This is important for both myself AND my client, because I’m not going to be the right videographer for everybody and that’s ok! When Elizabeth reached out to me her wedding was only two months away. I asked why she had waited to find a videographer, and she said that she had been hesitant because she was a shy person and didn’t know how she would feel about having so many cameras on the wedding day. I was able to explain to her my process, which is what I call the “fly on the wall”, where I prefer to document things in a very natural and undirected way. I don’t like my presence to be too obvious, and I try to work around the photographer as much as possible to make sure that the presence of an extra camera isn’t overwhelming. I think my style and process was the right fit for Elizabeth, and apparently she thought so too because here we are! This girl knocked it out of the park and was so natural on camera. She and her husband were so sweet to work with throughout the day, and I can’t get over how cute they were on camera. Congrats to the Jureckas!
Ryan Wedding Preview - Liberty Hill, TX
Miranda and Tyler’s wedding was something out of a Texas dream! The antlers, pompas grass, and the red barn under a Texas starry night were seriously swoon worthy! These two make such a cute couple, and their wedding day was full of so many fun moments. I can’t wait to edit their highlights for you guys! Congrats to the Ryans!
Wragg Wedding Preview - Austin, TX
Bryttne and Colin's stunning, Texas hill country wedding preview is here! These two were nothing but laughs all day (their first dance was to Backstreet Boys "I Want it That Way"), and I wanted their teaser to reflect the fun of that day.
Bonus fact: I went to high school with Colin, but we didn't meet each other until his wedding day! I also appreciated the fact that Bryttne went to UT and is a huge longhorn sports fan (note the bridesmaid dress color). Congrats to the Wraggs!
Ewing Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
This wedding y’all. First of all, Hannah and Darius are just awesome people all around, and their energy and style are unmatched. But beyond that, I feel like the Lord keeps giving me new creative energy and is pushing me to try new things. This video is 1. my longest highlights video ever, and 2. the first time I’ve used more than one song in a highlights. This is the norm for a lot of wedding videos, but a first for me. I think it came out pretty awesome.
This wedding also had two of my most favorite moments to ever capture on video. The blessing over Hannah and Darius by the entire wedding was such a beautiful moment, and one that I knew immediately while filming that I wanted to include. The final song of the night was also a special one, as the entire wedding party gathered in a giant circle to sing “Rivers and Roads” together. I knew it was a special moment, but I didn’t know I was going to incorporate it into the video until I played it back and heard the crowd singing. (Pro tip: choose a final song that is meaningful to you and your crew. The memories you’ll make from that are irreplaceable.)
I loved getting to edit this video and getting to know Hannah and Darius through it. Congrats to the Ewings!
