“You are my sunshine, nourishing, warm, and fulfilling. You are my moonlight, guiding me in the darkest times and protecting me with mystical powers. You are all the stars in my sky. The destination and the journey all in one.” Amy and Ryan had a specific vision in mind for their wedding video. They wanted something with Super 8, something a little bit dreamy and romantic, but also authentic and full of natural, candid moments with friends and family. Their inspiration led me to this edit, one of my favorite videos to date. Their vows were so poetic and beautiful, and the day was full of such fun and family-filled moments. It was quite simply a day that was focused on all the things that actually matter on a wedding day. More love, more family and friends, more focus on each other. Congrats to the Bridgewaters!

But the best choices that I’ve made were the ones that always led me back to you.” David and Autumn have that classic friends to lovers romance story that’s straight out of a rom com. Having been together since high school, they wanted to keep their wedding day sweet, simple, and stress free. That included wanting just a simple Super 8 video (my favorite medium to shoot these days). They spent the morning of the wedding together before heading to the ceremony, where they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their love was so evident throughout the day in the way these two look at each other and the tenderness they show toward one another. Cheers to the Saheb-Wysockis!

I think it’s safe to say that I was more than a little inspired by Maddy and Shubham’s Hindu wedding ceremony! This was my first ever to shoot, and it ended up being such a beautiful weekend and experience! Central to Maddy and Shubham’s weekend was the involvement of their families. There was so much love surrounding them, and the way both families embraced each other’s cultures was beautiful to witness. On top of it all, Maddy and Shubham are just an outright cute couple. They are playful, funny, outgoing, and it was a joy spending their wedding weekend with them. Congrats to the happy couple!

Anderson Wedding Preview - Vintage Villas - Austin, TX
High school sweetheart stories tend to be some of my favorites, but Seren and Matty’s childhood sweetheart story may just top them all. Having dated a bit in fifth grade, these two were always meant to be and were eventually brought back together for good in high school. Almost as rare as childhood sweethearts? A wedding between two true, born and raised Austinites! Their wedding was a nod to Austin, getting married off the lake near where they grew up, and finishing the night with Amy’s Ice Cream and Tiff’s Treats. It was an epic party twenty years in the making. Congrats to the Andersons!
