Ioos Wedding Highlights - The Cedars Ranch - Wimberley, TX
“In my heart, Dereck, I married you a long time ago. And I believe in your heart that you married me too.” Dereck and Amanda’s love story was one that was years in the making. When I first heard their vows, I immediately knew that they would be the backbone of their film, and that I wanted to include footage of their relationship throughout the years to better tell their story. And although Amanda and Dereck might be known for their fun and adventurous spirits, their day was equally emotional and intimate, with only their closest friends and family present. The night ended in a music festival style party with an energy only these two could bring to the dance floor. Congrats to the Iooses!

Heck Wedding Highlights - Kendall Point - Boerne, TX
Hopefully you have your tissues ready because I’m not sure I’ve seen so many shed tears on a wedding day before! Caitlin and Oliver’s day was full of so many beautiful, sweet and sentimental moments that I couldn’t bring myself to leave out. Their friends and family are extremely close, and it was easy to see the immense amount of love and support they had as they entered into marriage together. I think one of my new favorite moments I’ve ever filmed, was seeing Caitlin’s little brother wipe away her tears during their emotional first look together. There is such a sweetness about Caitlin and Oliver, and the love their friends and family have for them was beautiful to witness. I’m so grateful to have been a part of capturing these precious memories for them. Congrats to the Hecks!

Wells Wedding Highlights - Mattie’s at Green Pastures - Austin, TX
Sam and Alena’s wedding was one that I feel so incredibly lucky to have captured. Everything about their day was so beautiful and felt like I was shooting THE dream wedding with THE dream couple. These two are so clearly head over heels for each other, and they were willing to wait and reschedule their wedding not once, but twice, in order to have their closest friends and family be there to love and support them on their day.
You can tell from every aspect of the day that Alena has great style and an eye for design. This also came down to the video, which she requested a darker and moodier color profile for. It was a definite creative challenge for me but I think it paid off and fit them so well! Knowing that Alena was a fellow creative also pushed me to want to make a video that (just like Alena and Sam) was stylish and a little bit ahead of the curve. I’m so proud of this one and grateful to have been part of their day. Congrats to the Wells!

Robinson Wedding Preview - Barr Mansion - Austin, TX
Maybe it’s the feeling of fall and fresh beginnings creeping in, but wedding season is here and I’m pushing forward with some renewed creative energy! That said, this teaser is way different from my usual ones, but I had so much fun with it and just wanted to do something different. I was inspired by the font on Ali and Ben’s wedding invites, and it led me down a whole entire path (also somewhat inspired by Wes Anderson), and this is what I came up with. A mini love story for instagram. And honestly if any couple was on board with it, I feel like it’d be Ali and Ben. They are quirky and fun and have amazing taste in music, fashion, and everything in between. They felt like the type of people who would enjoy something different, so I ran with it. Cheers to their (much longer) love story and all that’s to come!
