Smith Wedding Highlights - The Bygone Hotel - Wimberley, TX
“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.” Not only is it a famous When Harry Met Sally quote, but it was also part of Megan and Matthew’s movie inspired wedding vows. When Megan told me about all of their fun and unique wedding weekend plans - a movie night featuring Father of the Bride, mahjong lessons, a Spanish guitar player, and a haikuist writing custom poetry - I knew this wedding was going to be one for the books. Exchanging personal and private vows together the morning of their wedding, they opted for a more fun take on their public vows by weaving in romantic movie and tv quotes, and giving their guests Bingo cards to try to match with the quotes.
Inspired by their whimsical vow style, I wanted to create something equally fun and different by pulling several movie clips referenced in their vows. It was such a fun weekend for all involved, and I think the end product reflected so much of Matthew and Megan’s intentional yet laid back energy. This was such a fun video to edit and I’m so happy they let me be a part of their day. (Stick to the end for an extra added surprise!) Congrats to the Smiths!

Dottie Wedding Preview - The Austin Proper Hotel - Austin, TX
Although I’ve known Dottie for a few years, I didn’t meet his fiance, Leah, until they hired me to film their wedding day. Not only was Leah so kind and easy to get to know, it took zero effort to understand how these two perfectly compliment each other in their fun, adventurous, life of the party personalities (which is exactly why they needed a wedding teaser to show that off! 😉). Congrats to the Dotties!

Bridgewater Super 8 Mixed Media Wedding Highlights - The Plant at Kyle - Kyle, TX
“You are my sunshine, nourishing, warm, and fulfilling. You are my moonlight, guiding me in the darkest times and protecting me with mystical powers. You are all the stars in my sky. The destination and the journey all in one.” Amy and Ryan had a specific vision in mind for their wedding video. They wanted something with Super 8, something a little bit dreamy and romantic, but also authentic and full of natural, candid moments with friends and family. Their inspiration led me to this edit, one of my favorite videos to date. Their vows were so poetic and beautiful, and the day was full of such fun and family-filled moments. It was quite simply a day that was focused on all the things that actually matter on a wedding day. More love, more family and friends, more focus on each other. Congrats to the Bridgewaters!

Peppin Super 8 Wedding Highlights - The Preserve at Canyon Lake - Canyon Lake, TX
“Every night at 11:11 we would point out the time and make a wish. My wish was always you. To hold your hand after a football game, or to go to prom with you. My 11:11 wish has come true and I can’t imagine my life without you.” Faith and Eli have the sweetest high school sweethearts story. From meeting in band, to Chipotle dates, to dating long distance in college, these two have been committed to each other since day one. It was no surprise then that even when floods threatened their wedding day, they chose not to change their plans and commit to becoming husband and wife no matter what life was going to throw at them. Their day was sweet, sentimental, and surrounded by their closest friends and family. Congrats to the Peppins!
