Liebeck Super 8 Wedding Highlights - Mae’s Ridge - Johnson City, TX

“So it turns out all those years ago, the wrong place was just the right place actually.” Hearing Jaxon and Ryen’s love story just feels like fate. After moving halfway across the world from Australia, Jaxon and Ryen met when they both showed up to the wrong classroom on their first day at UT. Their meetcute story is something straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie, and their entire day was full of that same timeless romantic vibe. Ryen and Jaxon have such a sweet and easy going nature together, and their wedding day was just as relaxed as they are. Everything was simple, meaningful, and intentional, which made Super 8 the perfect medium for capturing this day. Congrats to the Liebecks!

Whitney Super 8 Wedding Highlights - The Winfield Inn - Kyle, TX

“But how much I love you gives me solace in knowing that there has to be a heaven, because I don’t have enough love for you for just a lifetime. I need forever.” Tory and Logan’s rainy, sentimental wedding day was something straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. These two high school sweethearts had the most perfectly sweet, tearful private vows, that I immediately knew had to be the center of their story. Despite the rain delays during their ceremony, the day was still romantic and dreamy, with an extra sweet reception to top off the night. The team was led by Maxwell + Gray, with photos by Bay Reed and stunning white florals from Jo.An Florals. It was the sweetest day for the sweetest couple. Congrats to the Whitneys!

Moser Wedding Highlights - The Cathedral - Austin, TX

“From the moment I first laid eyes on you, I knew in my heart you were the person I wanted to share my life with.” For Jayson and Andrea, that moment went all the way back to their freshman year of high school. After nearly thirteen years together, they finally chose to celebrate with their closest friends and family in a destination wedding in one of their favorite vacation spots, Austin, Texas. The Cathedral, an art studio on the east side, was the perfect backdrop for their intimate day, and we had such a blast exploring and doing their portraits along South Congress. A highlight was seeing these two celebrated by all of the strangers congratulating and cheering them on as we walked up and down the street all afternoon. Andrea and Jayson have such a sweet and tender way about them, and it was such a joy to be a part of their day. Congrats to the Mosers!

Levine Wedding Highlights - Commodore Perry - Austin, TX

“To love one who loves you, to admire one who admires you, to respect one who respects you is the exceeding limit of human joy. It’s stealing fire from heaven, and that is something that you two have done.”

It’s rare that I get to capture couples with the kind of tangible connection and chemistry that Jake and Jen have with each other. Their love is written all over their faces, their smiles, and the way they look at each other like nothing else in the world matters. Their day was romantic, dreamy, and filled with the creative and classy vibes that only the Commodore Perry could conjure up. The Pearl Events team led the stunning day alongside so many other talented vendors, Ida Mayes Florals and Whit McGuire photography.

It was also a creative joy to get to shoot Super 8 alongside digital. Jen is a graphic designer, which is always so flattering whenever I’m trusted by another creative to capture their day. She had a vision for her day and how she wanted it to be captured in photo and video, and I loved that she wanted to incorporate film into that.

The ceremony was poetic, sentimental, and sprinkled with the perfect amount of humor and tenderness. The toasts were moving and brought tears to everyone’s eyes. And the reception was led by the Nightowls who capped off the night with an epic dance party. It was a night and a love for the ages. Congrats to the Levines!
